When fishing gets slow, it’s hard not to make fun of yourself.
That’s what popular YouTuber Jon B seems to be doing in one of his latest videos when things get boring.
This is essentially a nearly 5-foot-long version of a classic Rapala floating minnow that he ordered from Australia. It is claimed to be the world’s biggest fishing lure.
Sadly, customs confiscated the lure’s bill. The first thing Jon has to do is to make a new lure bill out of plexiglass.
After a quick trip to Home Depot, he heads out to a nearby lake and starts messing with people by attempting to fish the gigantic lure.
One of the things that makes this video so funny is the fact that most of the other anglers don’t seem to give a damn about what he’s doing.
It’s totally dumb, but we love it. Sometimes you need to laugh at yourself and have a little fun. It’s great to see Jon still does that with how large the Googan brand has grown over the last few years.
It would be great if they could test out this thing in saltwater just to see if a shark will even take it for a taste. We’re sure an especially aggressive shark will be interested.
